The Green Festival is truly the United State's "premier even on sustainability." The Festival, taking place in various cities, will stop by New York on Earth Day Weekend April 20-21 at the Jacob Javitz Center, bringing with them a host of fabulous ethical brands, from an organic, veg-friendly, and ethical food court to hundreds upon hundreds of the world's best ethical fashion products. Additionally, there will be demonstrations, performances, and fantastic ethical fashion talks, including one featuring Eileen Fisher, and a recycled fashion show featuring Parsons/New School Fashion Design Students!
This year, the organizing committee is being headed up by the wonderful Céleste Lilore, co-owner with her husband and partner, Anthony Lilore, of the iconic ethical, active wear brand (and now design consultancy), Restore Clothing. With these two amazing mavericks of ethical fashion behind the scenes, you are surely in for a treat!
